Campbell Women’s Basketball has seen a sudden rise in production from sophomore shooting guard Summer Price, leading the charge for the Lady Camels over the last two weeks heading into the all-important Big South conference tournament.
Price, the 5-foot-9 guard from Beaverdam, Va., posted her third-straight double digit outing (14 points) leading Campbell in scoring for the third time in as many contests.
In the midst of this stretch, Price is now averaging 18 PPG, improving her scoring mark to a season-high 9.2 PPG, ranking 3rd best on the squad, while shooting nearly 45 percent in that span.
The Lady Camels are in a tight race for conference seeding as they next battle Charleston Southern, the team directly in front of them (No. 7 seed) in the Big South standings.
Action gets started on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. inside Gore Arena for the second-to-last home game of the regular season.
