New Mexico Bound

The Campbell Softball team prepares for their first action of the 2016 regular season, traveling to Las Cruces, NM for the upcoming Troy Cox Classic at New Mexico State University.

Last weekend, the Hampton Inn Invitational was cancelled due to snow at Amanda Littlejohn Stadium and Campbell now prepares for 74-degree weather all weekend.

Action gets started on Friday, Feb. 19 for two games starting at 11:00 a.m. MT (9 a.m. EST) against Creighton University followed by a 1:00 p.m. contest vs. Western Michigan. On Saturday, the final day of the tournament, Campbell will face Creighton once again before facing host school, New Mexico State for a 8 p.m. MT finale.

Traveling by flight across the country on Thursday, players took the opportunity to enjoy the perks of the moving walkway at RDU.
