Hosting 2017 LAX Championship

Campbell University has partnered with the Town of Cary and the Greater Raleigh Sports Alliance to host the 2017 NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Championships at WakeMed Stadium.

After serving as the host institution for the NCAA College Cup over the past three years, Campbell will now welcome the first-ever Women’s Lacrosse championship in the state of North Carolina, which will be officially taking place May 26-28 in 2017.

“Campbell is proud to have been part of another winning bid to host NCAA national championships,” said Campbell University Director of Athletics Bob Roller. “Our experience hosting the NCAA College Cup for women’s and men’s soccer over the past four years has led to a great partnership with the NCAA, the Town of Cary, and the Greater Raleigh Sports Alliance.”

The Fighting Camels return to the field on Sunday, Feb. 28 for their home opener against Fresno State out of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation at 11 a.m. EST.
