The Big South Conference office released its annual Big South Fan of the Year contest highlighting the most passionate fans.
In order to qualify for the award, fans must submit selfies showcasing school spirit between Jan. 11 and Feb. 15 – encouraging many Camel Crazies to join in on the unique festivities hoping to win a second-straight award here at Campbell University.

As you can see from above, one Campbell student is off to the races in the selfie competition. The next step of the #BigSouthFOTY contest features more digital media presence but on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag of your school: #GoCamels.
The top eight finalists will be announced on Feb. 16, which will then open up for one last online ballot, meaning Campbell fans can help decide the ultimate winner. Last year Jonathan Boggs, one of the founders for Camel Crazies, took home the top spot.
The Fighting Camels (MBB) return home on Thursday, Jan. 14 for Star Wars Night in Buies Creek so expect plenty of Camel Crazies to be posting spirited selfies on social media.
