During last night’s 73-66 comeback win over Western Carolina, junior Amanda Coffer set the Campbell University record for career blocks (113) while matching her career high with five blocks.
Coffer, the native of Summerfield, N.C. posted her third five-block performance of the season, leading the Lady Camels stingy defense.
In the process, Coffer past recent graduate Kiera Gaines for the all-time record needing just 67 games to accomplish the feat.
During her junior season, Coffer ranks second in scoring (11.3 PPG), first in total rebounds (6.4 RPG) and first overall in blocks.
The Lady Camels have now won five of their last six overall, heading to East Tennessee State for a non-conference tilt on Thursday.
