While the Fighting Camels dropped a tough contest to end the regular season, 34 players finished out their PFL careers over the weekend for Campbell Senior Day at Barker-Lane Stadium.
Led by two rushing touchdowns from De’Shawn Jones, the Camels’ newest all-time leading rusher, the Fighting Camels made things very interesting late, trailing by just six with 19 seconds to play.

Campbell out gained Jacksonville, 311-230, while controlling the time of possession, forcing six sacks in the contest, but ultimately lost the turnover battle, 4-1, in another tight contest.
The Dolphins (8-2, 5-2) took plenty advantage cashing in on a pick-six in the second half for the eventual game-winning score. The 2015-16 season was certainly an improvement for a senior class that inherited a lowly 1-10 campaign back when many of these seniors were just freshman in 2012.
Take a look back at some of the best moments from the weekend as the Fighting Camels fought to the end during a 5-6 campaign.
