Due to heavy weather that’s moving throughout the U.S. Eastern Seaboard from Hurricane Joaquin, games across the east coast in many sports have been cancelled or postponed.
That will be the case this weekend for the Campbell Men’s Soccer program as the Fighting Camels’ match with No. 4 ranked Coastal Carolina has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The highly-anticipated matchup pits the two top scoring teams in the Big South Conference. This happens to be the lone road game for the Fighting Camels between Friday Sept. 18, a 2-OT win over Jacksonville and a future tilt with current No. 2 ranked UNC.
Since the start of the 2005 season, Campbell owns a 6-22-2 overall record against nationally-ranked opponents with their last such win coming in a 2-0 victory over No. 17 NC State back in 2012.
