Butler’s Baseball Journal

Campbell sophomore Drew Butler (Rockingham, N.C.) is keeping fans engaged and informed about the Fall Baseball slate with a new journal post through the renowned site, College Baseball Daily.

Butler spent the summer playing for the Holly Springs Salamanders hitting .301 with four doubles and 13 RBI and shared some insight into the team-building exercises under head coach Justin Haire.

“Our program also stresses what it means to be patriotic and proud to be a part of the country we live in.”

“It is very easy to show up every day doing what we love to do without realizing how blessed we are to have this opportunity. Personally, I want to make sure I don’t take anything for granted this year. The foundation of Campbell baseball extends farther than just this team.”

The Fighting Camels finished last season 32-25, now entering their preseason conditioning program and light practice schedule along with some exhibition games coming up in October.
