Welcome To The Creek

We begin by introducing you to our newest creation through the Campbell Athletic Department, the Creek is Rising, an exclusive blog for content covering the Fighting Camels.

Building off our excellent coverage of Campbell sports on GoCamels.com, The Creek is Rising will be operated and managed within the athletic department as a centralized medium for updates, unique stories and social media-driven posts that go beyond the box score and athletic competition here in Buies Creek.

The Creek is Rising can be accessed in a variety of ways, featuring the official GoCamels.com website navigating through our “Inside Athletics” tab clicking on TheCreekisRising for up to the minute information. Stories you can expect to find on this exciting blog will range from video interviews, updates about Campbell students and teams on social media along with written stories that combine various elements of coverage into one, convenient locale.

Every and all sports will be featured, including those who have since graduated and are making moves in the professional ranks of their given line of competition. Feel free to read through our portfolio of stories over the last few weeks and hopefully you enjoy everything being poured into the website moving forward.

We are thrilled about incorporating the voice of students into our coverage, not only from those covering the Fighting Camels for Camel Cam but also introducing a staff of hardworking and passionate writers to enhance our coverage. These individuals will work together with our student-athletes themselves, giving them a channel to personally share stories about competing at Campbell University.

In terms of leadership, Digital Media Assistant Evan Budrovich and Athletic Communications Assistant Chris Downey will be managing the blog on a daily basis and will continuously provide unique content about everything Campbell Athletics.

We look forward to fans learning more about the inside workings of everything Campbell Athletics. #theCreekisRising
