Both the Men’s and Women’s Golf programs spent some quality time gearing up for the 2015-2016 season, starting with the ever-important head shots and team portraits that will be featured online from the GoCamels.com webiste. Now of course having some fun in the process is an absolute necessity, especially when your season tees off on at the Golfweek Program Challenge September 5th in Pawley’s Island, S.C and stretches all the way through late May.

Last season, the Women’s Golf program reached the NCAA finals for the second-straight year finishing 23rd overall in the country as the Camels finished eight strokes behind NC State and three in front of California. With four of their top six players returning to the fold, optimisim remains high for a third-straight trip to the NCAA finals.
The Men’s Golf program finished second in last year’s Big South Tournament as the second-place showing was Campbell’s best in its conference tournament since returning to the Big South in 2011-12. The Fighting Camels final round 283 was the school’s second-lowest ever in Big South Championship play and its 54-hole total (859) was the school’s best ever score in that particular event.
