Clark’s Hat Trick, Fighting Spirit Fuel Overtime Win

Redshirt senior Ashley Clark has done a variety of things over her career, but a first career hat trick added another chapter to an already stellar legacy for the second all-time leading scorer in Campbell Women’s Soccer program history with 32 goals.

Her most recent performance, a three-goal outing along with a key service that propelled the game-winning goal from Payton Ormsby in an incredible 4-3 win (2OT) on Monday night at Eakes Athletic Complex. Clark even overcame an injury during the late portion of the second half, playing through pain with another two shots in overtime during the Camels’ home opener.

Speaking of great moments, produced a video feature highlighting how the Cary, N.C. has impacted the Fighting Camels program – hoping to take the next step forward in a crowded Big South Conference this season.
